That is, any policy to promote sectoral impact on poor countries is consistent with the objectives of development.
As far as content goals and indicators are concerned, in general, has also advanced in the speech but no major commitments . In health, the remaining challenge appears to be on strengthening health systems each country to develop and not to create parallel systems. Regarding education, it should highlight a couple of announcements economic injections (750 million World Bank and 5,000 million Australian Government) and in terms of environmental degradation is linked with poverty but was postponed making decisions, especially financial, to adapt to climate change of vulnerable countries. The international community will have an opportunity to resume the discussion at the upcoming summit of Nagoya (Japan) and Cancun (Mexico).
Finally, as expected, good words and few commitments. civil society is closed with skepticism summit but will strengthen the work on monitoring the post-summit agenda that opens today and will last at least the next five years. The Final Declaration addresses a plethora of issues which could form the basis for setting future agendas that concrete proposals.
